1. Eid al-Fitr comes after the month of Ramadan for 3 days.
2. Eid al-Adha comes during the month of Hajj, people slaughter animal to remember Prophet Ibrahim and his son Ismael.
3. Muslims in each country have different customs to celebrate eid.
4. Pakistan, Iran, Egypt and Malaysia are some of the Muslim countries that celebrate eid differently.
5. Praying one prayer in Al-Masjid Al-Haram gives us the reward of 100,000 prayers.
6. Al-Masjid Al-Nabawi is known as the Prophet’s Masjid.
7. The Ottomans built the Masjid of Sultan Ahmad in the city of Istanbul, it is one of the largest masajid in the world.
8. Mughal Emperor Shah Jehan built Jama Masjid in India.
9. An old lady gave money to start building the Omar Ibn Khattab Masajid in Los Angeles.
10. Mihrab, minbar, manarah, musalla and qubbah are different things that we find in a masjid.
Unit E
1. Qudwah is the word for role model in Arabic.
2. Some qualities we see in our qudwah:
a. Who makes you think of doing good things?
b. Who has taught you great thing.
c. Who pleases Allah?
3. Prophet Muhammed (P.B.U.H.) is known as the truthful and the trustworthy.
4. Prophet Muhammed taught us to always be honest.
5. We should be honest because:
a. It brings you closer to Allah.
b. Will earn you the trust of people.
c. Makes everyone respect you.
6. Always be patient with your brothers and sisters.
7. We have to show taah, obedience to our teachers and elders because they know what is best for us.
8. It is Sunnah to ender the masjid with our right foot.
9. Halaqah is when we sit together and talk about islam.
10. Prophet Muhammed said “the one who does not thank people who did well to him. He is not thankful to Allah.
