Today we started study of Surat Al-Hujurat and continued to Ayah 5.
The Sura being studied is a Madeni Sura number 49 consisting of 18 Ayat.
2- The Sura starts with a call to the believers.
3- The First command was not to advance any opinions or commands over those of Allah & his messenger.
4- The Second command was to practice Taqwa. Taqwa is behavior motivated by love for Allah, fear of His punishment and hell fire and desire for His reward & heaven.
5- The Third command after the second call to the believers was not to raise one’s voice above that of the prophet PBAH & have respect for him and his authenticated narrated sayings.
6- It is bad manners to shout to call people out. Islam permits knocking the door or ringing the bell up to maximum of three times before leaving. It is ok for the people of the house to refuse receiving guests.
