Today we studied Surat Al Fatiha:
1- Surat Alfatiha consists of 7 Ayat.
2- Surat Alfatiha must be recited at least 17 times each day by a Muslim during the 5 daily prayers.
3- Surat Alfatiha is the 1st Surah when opening the Holy Quran.
4- Basmala “Besemi Allah Alrahman Alrahim” is part of Surat Al Fatiha and should be said even silently.
5- We should start everything we do with Basmala.
6- Basmala means: I start for the sake of Allah the Merciful, the Compassionate, for His sake and according to his guidance.
7- The Basmala in the beginning of the Quran lays out the relationship between Allah and humans as that of a kind, merciful and compassionate God.
8- Alhamdu Lillah means: praise to Allah for who He is and for His gifts to us.
Home work:
1- Read at least one page of Quran daily and the meanings. Give it priority over all else 1st thing in the morning.
2- Make a weekly check chart for the daily things you should be doing including, but not limited to, the 5 daily pryers, daily Quran, being best to parents, chores, …etc…
