Assalamu Alaikum Dear Parents,
The course plan for the rest of the year goes as follows. The order in which it is followed does not matter as much that it can all be completed before the end of the school year inshallah.
Please review surat Al-Asr, Al-Maaun, and Al-Feel with your child. They have completed Surat Al-Zilzal, but when reviewing it with the class, many students were having trouble, so I had planned to restart it from scratch, so please memorize that with your child over the course of the entire month.
I planned to start the Salah Topics( Pages 9-10 in the book) on 4/5 and continue the same lesson on 4/12
Please cover points 1,2,3,5, and 7. If you want to teach points 4 and 6, I have left them as optional. Also, review the dua after salah (page 8).
For 4/19, Please memorize the Dua upon breaking fast (page 7), and the qunut in witr’s prayer (page 8), as it will be nearing Ramadan, and these dua’s will be helpful for the students.
For 4/26, please review anything taught before, and use this week as a cushion for anything you may not have been able to do with your child.
I would like to ask you to read the surahs your children have already learned or are learning every prayer when you pray with your children out loud, and use whatever dua’s I have assigned whenever appropriate (i.e dua after salah after every salah). We want to engrain in our little ones that this is not just something you memorize in Sunday school, rather something you use every day in your life. I will update the syllabus next month based on any feedback I get from parents, so please check the homework accordingly. If you have any questions or concerns, I’d be more than happy to help. You can email me at habeebo02@hotmail.com . Also, if your child does not have their book, please email me, I will send you the pages as an attachment.
Stay Safe,
Sr. Habeebat
